For more than an hour, the Caucus granted Dr. Mordecai the opportunity to discuss CCA’s efforts to fight poverty through our vision to be the college where every student succeeds. This week, Dr. Mordecai met with Jennifer Allen-Thomas, Mayor Pro Tem of Commerce City, Colorado. Remarkably, her father was the first African American male elected to city council, and she is the first African American female elected. Living history indeed!
